Junetta Dix has 37 years of experience as an environmental manager in the environmental consulting field. Her responsibilities include conducting and oversight of all field studies; wetland delineations and mitigation projects; environmental impact assessments; soils investigations; and, threatened and endangered species’ habitat surveys.
Junetta maintains an exemplary reputation with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies and has the ability to facilitate efficient permit application reviews and approvals. She has experience in all levels of permitting from local environmental commissions and land use boards; Pinelands Commission; multiple States; Federal; to the National Environmental Policy Act for federally funded projects.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master of Environmental Management with a concentration in Natural Resource Ecology from Duke University. She resides in Atlantic County and manages the Marmora, NJ office location where ACT’s fleet of marine survey vessels are stored.
Junetta unselfishly volunteers a great amount of time to community causes and is proud to serve as a Board member for the Atlantic City Day Nursery and volunteers her time and talents to local non-profits. She was humbled to be named Linwood’s Citizen of the Year in 2015 and was honored as the community volunteer in March 2019 by the Linwood Education Foundation.
